It is a service where individuals have their hands and feet groomed and polished into salon

Service Description

A manicure and pedicure, often referred to as a "mani-pedi," are cosmetic treatments for the hands and feet respectively. They involve a variety of steps to clean, shape, and beautify the nails and surrounding skin. The term "mani-pedi" is a colloquialism that originated from the Philippines in the 1970s. It is a compound of the words "manicure" and "pedicure". The earliest known use of the term is from 1972, in the writing of Filipino author Kerima Polotan-Tuvera. The term has since been widely adopted in English-speaking countries around the world. The words "manicure" and "pedicure" themselves have Latin origins. "Manicure" comes from the French word "manucure", which in turn originates from the Latin words "manus", for hand, and "cura", for care. Similarly, "pedicure" comes from the Latin words "pes" (genitive case: "pedis"), for foot, and "cura", for care. A manicure typically includes soaking the hands in warm soapy water to soften the skin and cuticles, followed by trimming, shaping, and buffing the fingernails. The nail technician then applies a base coat, color, and top coat to the nails. A hand massage with cream and application of cuticle oil often concludes the treatment. A basic manicure can take up to 30 minutes A pedicure, on the other hand, often begins with exfoliating the skin on the feet and soaking them in warm water. Similar to a manicure, the toenails are then trimmed, shaped, and buffed. Cuticle care, nail painting or buffing, and a foot massage are also typically included in a pedicure Mani-pedis can be seen as a form of therapy for the soul, leaving you feeling good and looking good. They can be empowering, allowing you to flaunt perfect digits and complete your look. There are various types of manicures and pedicures available, including basic, French, gel, and acrylic, each offering different aesthetics and longevity It's important to note that the quality of a mani-pedi can greatly depend on the skill of the nail technician and the hygiene standards of the salon. Therefore, it's recommended to seek professional services at reputable salons to ensure the best results and safety. At EsCos-Beauty you will find everything you like to feel great , look amazing, and be safe.
